The ingredient of Chocolate cake

  1. 200g good-quality dark chocolate, nearly chopped
  2. 250g unsalted butter, softened
  3. 1 1/2 cups (330g) caster sugar
  4. 1 tsp vanilla extract

  6. 2 cups (300g) plain flour
  7. 1 tsp baking powder
  8. 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  9. 1/2 cup almond meal
  10. 1/3 cup NESTLu00c9 BAKERS CHOICE Cocoa, sifted

The instruction how to make Chocolate cake

  1. Preheat the oven to 160u00b0C. Grease and line the base and sides of a 23cm springform cake pan.
  2. Place chocolate and 60g of the butter in a heatproof bowl on top of higher than a pan of gently simmering water (dont let the bowl adjoin the water). mix up occasionally until melted, subsequently next set aside to cool.
